🌍 Overview

The border collie is widely considered the most intelligent dog breed in the world, developed on the Anglo-Scottish border specifically for herding sheep using an intense "eye" (predatory stare) and crouching movement. A border collie named Chaser holds the record for the largest tested canine vocabulary — over 1,000 objects by name. Their extraordinary intelligence comes with a significant caveat: without adequate mental and physical stimulation, they become destructive and anxious.
